My daughter attended Bobbie Noonan's from the age of 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 and LOVED it. We always felt good about bringing her there every day because the staff is so professional and friendly, I plan on sending our second daughter there as soon as she is old enough. Our 6 year old still talks about how much she misses going there now that she is in public school.
My daughter loves it here. She gets music, art, social skills, math and literacy. Yes, she does worksheets to help with fine motor and letter, number and color recognition--but she also does projects and learns songs. They have a print literate environment and read lots of books. The teachers are very welcoming and available when parents need them. Weekly newsletters keep us informed and involved. I recommend Bobbie Noonans.
My child went to this pre-school. THe academic push here is great but how developmentally appropriate is it? Just about no parental involvement exists - the xmas program was even cancelled! Hardly any painting, art, projects, etc. All that comes home in the backpack is worksheets completed with pencils. How totally bored my child must have been.
