This school use to be a great place for children to learn and grow. However the church council has been making some really poor decisions. To say they have brought in amateurs to run it is an understatement. I currently work there as a teacher and have been a teacher there for a very long time. Unfortunately I will be leaving due to the ridiculous nature of their decisions.

Politics is dragging this school down. The staff was top notch in the beginning of the year, but the church council has made some really bad decisions in turning the operations over to amateurs. What was a professionally run establishment has now been resorted to a circus. If I saw this on the horizon, I would have chosen another pre-k for my children. There are still a couple of good teachers here, but the really good ones have left or will be leaving shortly because of management decisions.

My children have all gone to this school. My littelest is now starting his first year there. They have a lovely staff. They picked up all of my childrens 'things to work on' areas and gave up to date comprehensive reports on things needed for kindergarten, like fine motor skills and social development . They worked with them to develop problem areas in a positive manner. It is also a smaller school, so its more intimate and friendly. The teachers are among the best and even though my twins will be in kindergarten, they still talk about their teachers and good times. They have met wonderful little friends and I have met some great mom friends too. They are a christian school but they do not force or implicate religion on the students. They have chapel days where they sing bible songs and talk about bible stories.

No... thank goodness. Not everything in life is a lesson. Relaxation is an art that should be practiced more. Sometimes its ok to just "play".

Each toy DOES teach something, but it is up to the adult to make it interesting by being encouraging and specific.
