My son and I attended LWTG together while he was 2-3.5 years old. Classes are parent/child format, which is a wonderful, gradual step toward preschool and a great way to begin socializing your child in a supportive environment. The purpose of the group is more social/emotional growth rather than academic, which is fitting for this age group. They offer flexible class times/days and allow younger siblings to join in. We attended the Monday 5pm class, so even though I work full-time, I was able to share this special time with my child. Each class session included free play, crafts, circle time (singing/stories), bubbles, parent education lessons, snack and clean up. I highly recommend this for families of toddlers, whether they work full time or stay at home with their kids. My son was well prepared for his first preschool experience and still keeps in touch with some of his LWTG classmates.
