The teachers at this quiet, quaint, and personal school are the BEST, bar-none! I completely trust the teachers at this school because it is easy to see that they absolutely love children and love what they do. My daughter is learning so much, it's really great to see all of the new things she has accomplished through the teachings at Montessori. A lot of people ask me how I can afford to send my daughter to Montessori. Let me just say that we are not rich by any means. It is more affordable than you may think. And once you see the school, the teachers, the other children, and how happy your child is to be there, you will not look at Montessori as a 'luxury' school, it will become a priority. I make personal sacrifices in my spending so that my children are able to attend this fantastic school!

The Montessori Academy of Davison, is the best school to be recommended to all parents for their children between the ages of 3 and 6. The staff is very loving and caring to every child that walks through their doors. The teachers also touch on every learning style, which allows every child the advantage of learning all the materials needed to be successful in the grades to come.

Our daughter joined Montessori at the age of two and a half. We are very pleased to see her developing her motor, vocabulary, social, reading and cognitive skills. Most of all, our daughter loves her school and her teachers. All the staff exceeded our expectations with respect to their care and abilities as educators. Feedbacks about our child performance was provided with high accuracy, sometimes on daily basis if requested. The academic programs are superior and include all disciplines that motivate a child, including music, art, sports and plenty of extracurricular activities. Parent involvement is highly encouraged. In brief, this is a school that fulfills our expectation an dreams of a great school for our daughter.

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
