Thank you parents for sharing information about our school and for your honest critiques. At the Village, we care about the quality of our school and are open to your direct feedback to improve our services where needed. If you are a current parent or considering the Village, know that the director s door is always open to your direct feedback and we want to know if something doesn t meet your expectations to make it right. We consider your children our little customers and we want every parent & child to feel good about their teacher and the school where they spend time. The Village is pursuing accreditation under the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) the gold standard in childcare. Our higher standards require degreed providers and others that must complete college courses as a condition of employment. In our latest NAEYC parental survey 93% of parents rated their teachers as great teachers in terms of care provided, helping the child to learn and overall as a good teacher. We additionally take great pride in the cleanliness, security and safety of the environment you entrust your children to.

My six year old love the after school care and I loved the teacher...she really cared and did more for the kids then other teachers. I didn't like the toddler area b/c I never knew which teacher would be there when I dropped off my 2 year old nor would I know who would be there when I picked him up. There was no stability there. Toddler teachers were always quitting, so something was going on that me as a parent didn't know about which is why I took them out, plus it was really expensive!! The teacher's that were there were great!!

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
