Busy Bear is a great structured environment with lots of activities for the kids to do. My 4 1/2 year old loves it there.

If i could rate busy bear less than 1 star, i would. I worked there for a short time and couldn't stand it. they left me in a room with 31 kids while 3 other teachers were gossiping. they dont feed the kids 2nds on their food, and the 1st serving is NOT enough. half of the kids go hungry because they dont like whats being served and there is no second choice. there is no punishment for the kids other than being told not to do something again. these kids throw/hit/kick and all because the 'teachers' let them get away with it. its an awful place to work, and even more awful that they have so many parents that trust them and leave their kids with them. these kids are great kids yet run wild at busy bear. DO NOT bring your children there. its NOT a good environment.

my son was bit 2 times in less then a month and the 2nd time they had to put ice on the shoulder. I as PARENT didn't get a call until I picked him up and saw the indecent report. and when I talked to the owner I was told "well bitting happens in day care centers" excuse... I dont tolerate my son being injured at the hands of ANY person I pulled him before from another site for being bit. Which proves I cant trust anyone to watch my son..

I think common core is going to produce a bunch of dumb adults. Once the kids are grown and out in the real world they aren't going to know how to solve any problem without writing out the answer step by step

I think common core will definitely make moving families feel more confident in their school district choices, but I definitely worry about the learning curve as common core is implemented.
