Community Rating
Based on 1 rating
The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.
The Lab School was made for a child like mine. Generations have attended and returned in many University area families. Prospect Park being one of them. For highly inquisitive and curious children with a sincere and joyous desire of learning, the Lab School is hard to beat. Now we were there when staff was an institution in and of itself, and that coupled with their teaching style, interesting/ever changing classrooms, music and more, was par none. Hard to say if that has changed with parent preference for full time day care over a educational partnership with nursery school and home. It was a vital and roaring community when we were there a little over 7 years ago. I and many parents appreciated the school health checks every morning (strep) and particular attention to hand washing as far as hygiene aspect went... A practice that is sorely needed as routine in all schools and our children's organizations. I'd give the SMLNS the highest rating possible.
