I currently have a child in the Reach program which uses Pride as their before and after school program. I have many concerns with the program. Don't get me wrong my child loves the program, but what I thought would be a parent-friendly program, is turning out not to be the case.

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
