I have two daughters that have attended or are currently attending MCHL. Prior to enrolling them here, they attended different Montessori schools in the area. I had grown frustrated with the poor management at their previous school and the teachers at that school spoke very highly of MCHL. So I took a tour and was impressed with what I observed. It feels like a real school, just on a smaller more intimate scale. Ditto what other parents have said - excellent teachers and support staff. It will be hard to leave when it's time - the staff really become like extended family.

Our daughter joined MCHL when she was 3 1/2 and left the summer before kindergarten. MCHL was amazing from the minute we walked in and remained that way the whole time. It had the best of academics and behavior management plus some great teachers. We can't wait to enroll our second child in MCHL!

I checked out all the schools in the area within the Ashburn and Sterling area wanting to find a place that meets our my needs. As a Registered Nurse I feel my husband and I found the perfect place. Caring, nurturing, clean and safe,.. this place offers my daughter an environment that meets her needs as well as our own. She began in the toddler group and our second daughter is in the infant one day class and loving it. The teacher's as well as the auxiliary staff are not only informative but show a truly caring way. I have gone back on occasion when I have forgotten something and found the teacher's down at the child's level on the floor. The classrooms are organized, and offer the child a quiet yet directed fun place to learn and enjoy life.

This is a great school! The teachers are very caring there, it is like a family. Almost all teachers know each child. The teacher turn over rate is very very low in this school that a lot of teachers there have worked for more than 10 years at the same school. The children in this school are so much happier, more active, better behaved and polite. They learn in a fun way with no pressure where they become self-motived learners. Unlike some 'very academic focused' schools where even preschoolers have homeworks, all studyings are done at school, but my son is well prepared academically even compared with children who are assigned homeworks everyday. His interests in reading and learning are very strong. Most importantly all children are nice there, the whole school is such a pleasant place to be in.
