Great school. My son is finishing up his kindergarten year here and can read on a second-grade level and is doing first- and second-grade addition/subtraction and beginning multiplication. The owner/lead teacher is great with the kids -- firm but caring and fair. The assistant teacher is a gem; the kids love her. Expectations are high but the staff easily adjusts to accommodate for each child's abilities and interests. It's a small school -- enrollment maxes out at around 20 students -- but there is usually a good mix of ages, ranging from 3-year-olds just beginning preschool to 6-year-old kindergartners, and all get along well, learn together and learn respect for each other. I'm sad to see my son graduate to public school but happy that my daughter still has several years to go at MVM.
