There is a wait list for this wonderful school which really is a reflection of how current families feel about Children's House. The teachers and staff are exceptional, caring, funny and simply fine human beings. Our children have been cared for and looked after as though all of these adults are our extended family. Add to this a strong foundation in academics, self - sufficiency and social/community building. I believe 99.99 percent of the parents would report their happiness with this school and all of the staff. I thank each of these dedicated people for creating a nice place for friends to be together and blossom. More importantly, I think each child would have positive things to say about being here. We have lived in this area for more than 10 years and can say without hesitation that Children's House is THE best. Children's House is not a house. It is a HOME. I hope your child has an opportunity to begin their school journey here. Better yet, the children LOVE to see their friends and teachers. They nearly run into school and skip happily out with a teacher beside them. Just seeing that will bring a smile to your face!

3 kids, 2 in the school currently, 1 recently graduated. Principal Booth and her staff are exceptional. We started our oldest at the nearby Knowledge Beginnings and they had zero academic curriculum. She came to Children's House upon recommendation from friends and it was the best move we could ever make. In less than 6 months with Mrs. the-best-teacher-ever Chen she had caught up and was ready for 1st grade. They run a tight ship and expect a lot from the kids and parents. Just stop by and observe, and you will never see a better behaved group of young kids. If you have a good kid they'll make them great. If you have a problem kid who needs work, they'll straighten them out as long as you work with them to make progress. If you make excuses and pretend like your kid's problems are the teacher's deficiency then look elsewhere. Public school can't ask you to leave but private schools can.

All of my kids have attended this school - 2 of 3 are currently attending & my eldest is now a thriving 3rd Grader. I personally know families currently enrolled at this school and ones who have moved on, and am proud (& still pleasantly surprised) to say that none of them have had an irreconcilably negative experience. Frankly, we all believe that this school provides the most positive & rewarding results of any comparable school in this area. Every child's life experience is unique, so naturally, delicate/difficult situations arise all the time, it's impossible for any educational facility to be free of these cases. This school/staff shine because of their positive, coordinated approach in reconciling these situations - Mrs. Booth & her Staff literally lose sleep over them, while keeping the parents intricately involved. The catch is that we as Parents need to work WITH educators while putting egos aside. While we do need to protect ourselves from money hungry facilities, rest assured this is not one of them. This school's staff has the unique ability to help students realize their full potential, it simply takes a parent brave enough to take that journey with their children.

Well I am glad I took off my son from this school. He went through a lot of pain and psychological pressure.A 4 year old boy was put on time outs on daily basis. His teacher never helped him with any of his projects nor was capable of keeping him happy. He was made to sit in the principals office everyday or was asked to sit on time out in junior classrooms. His self esteem and general reputation was ruined. He started hurting himself at home so that I would keep him home.A horrible teacher and more horrible principal pushed him to a limit where I had to think about a therapist.Ms Booth threatened him to call cops if he played pretend bad man good man game in school and yelled on him.As a result a frustrated and extremely broken kid had no friends in the school.Kids called him bad names.Academically he was taught nothing. He is a very loving and brilliant child who is living a very happy life now in another school.I gave them my most precious thing and they destroyed him.
