I love Premier. I have had two kids in Premier for preschool and I found that they were exceptional at getting the kids Kindergarten ready. My oldest was able to write all of his letters and count to 100 easily when the Kindergarten screening came around. He was very good with using scissors and had mastered many of the skills they checked for at assessment time. The teachers had great qualifications. Very pleased!
This child care facility is not one I would recommend for those students who require a little more attention such as those with an Individualized Education Plan. My child who has a speech impairment was often told to "use his words" when attempting to communicate how another child in his class did something inappropriate and was often ignored by his teachers. If he could "use his words" effectively he wouldn't be receiving speech therapy services. The only time he was able to get attention was to act out. Many children with speech impairments act out because they have difficulty communicating. The teachers would often call my child "bad" and ignore his requests and statements. Instead of developing an effective behavior modification program the owner wrote a letter requesting to dismiss my child from their facility. The staff here are not not equipped to handle these types of children. If your child does not have special needs then this may be a decent place.
