My daughter attended this school as an interim before joining her older sister at Montessori school. I could not have asked for better care from her toddler room teachers, Ms. Catherine, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. Angela. They took excellent care of my daughter, particularly when she suffered a seizure in class. They handled it very professionally and got control of the situation until the medics arrived. I cannot speak about the other teachers' classes, but I did know who ALL of the teachers were and they knew me and my daughter (and my older child). I would absolutely recommend this facility. We attended for ~8 months before we had to transfer. It was a bittersweet departure.

Our daughter is 16 months old and has been at Willow Woods for 5 months now. This is a great place. It may not be fancy, shiny and new but it is everything a kid needs to grow and learn in a clean consistent environment. The caretakers are wonderful. Our daughter opens the door every morning, runs to her room and gives her teachers their morning hug. It's so nice to know she is happy and safe while we are away.

My son has been attending Willow Woods for four months. I had him in a daycare and a preschool in a different community but he was miserable both places (he cried when I dropped him off). In comparison, he has cried once in four months and even on reluctant days I just remind him that today is library day or music day or share day, (or best of all, that he might miss snack) and he heads for the car. He recognizes and can write most of his letters now, is constantly trying to spell things, counts everything he gets his hands on, and best of all, he sings to me! The teachers are patient and loving and obviously love what they do. Every teacher knows my son's, name and when I drop him off or pick him up they always greet me and my son with smiles. I gave the school four out of five on the facility. It is clearly aging and the playground is rather small. But it is clean and well-maintained. If you want shiny new classrooms and a huge playground you'll have to haul your child to Johnson county everyday or pay $200 to $400 more every month (or both). I choose loving teachers and child-centered teaching over fancy facilities any day. Thumbs up for Willow Woods!

Good school and teachers with dedicated parents. However, the director is difficult to get in touch with and even more difficult to deal with.
