When searching for placement for my child, i selected Futures because of it warmth, cleanliness, friendliness, and structure. My child was placed in Ms. Joyce class. He adjusted really well and she met all of my expectactions of what a person caring for a child should display. She is very nuturing, patient and caring. This made me feel very comfortable as a parent. When my child turned 3 years of age, he had to switch classes. I started to notice a change in the overall care for my child. I reported it to the supervisor in hopes that it would get better but unfortunately it appears to have gotten worse. He have then been switched to the pre-K class and it the beginning it seemed that all problems were solved. That is until a few weeks ago, he began telling me that very distubing things have been happening to him (will not state because these are allegations that have not been proven). I believe him because i have witnessed staff texting to the point that when i enter the room they have no idea that i am there. I am a hard working parent who pay for my child to receive exceptional care and i feel that my child and i are being cheated of that. ~very disappointed parent
My son has been to 3 different daycares since 5 months old. Two in the Lafayette area and Future's Unlimited. I must say that Future's has been the BEST childcare facility for my son. Thanks to Ms. Joyce his first teacher, he is now fully potty trained. She really worked with me in the process. I feel at ease knowing my son is at Future's. They are so clean & there is always a fresh smell. When I drop him in the morning the kitchen is brewing with meals for the kids. They call when something happens & he is truly learning. I have noticed a HUGE difference in his development compared to the previous daycares. I HIGHLY recommend Future's Unlimited. Ms. Shannon is always available to listen to concerns or answer questions. She is very professional & she makes sure her staff is as well. ~Val Brown~
My 5 yr old has been going to Future's for about 4 yrs now. She was actually doing some of the same work as my 7 year old (2nd grader)who attends a local Catholic school!! I absolutely love this place! The staff is wonderful and Shannon is always willing to work with you....Amanda Morain
