My daughter has been at La Causa for 3 years and we love it! The school is run by experienced directors, and staffed by caring teachers. The curriculum is excellent, structured and applied methodologically. The teachers are full of energy and have tools at their disposal to handle discipline so that the classroom functions well for all. LaCausa Early Childhood Center (daycare) is in an old building, but the classrooms are lovely, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, painted in bright colors and full of toys, books, and play centers. There is a library full of beanbags and Dr. Seuss murals. The cafeteria serves hot, fresh, food for breakfast and lunch and the kids LOVE being in there. Finally, there is an awesome playground, safely fenced and set back from the street, with a paved tricycle route and separate play structures for toddlers/kids. I can't say enough good things about LaCausa -- my older kids are in the Whitefish Bay school district (one of the higher scoring districts in state), but I've chosen to keep my daughter at LaCausa Charter for elementary school. It's a 30 minute drive that is worth it!
This is not a very good school to have your children go to the teachers are always yelling at the children instead of trying to teach them wth ey should be leaning half the staff have attitude problems they say they are there to help and understand parents and children's situations but they don't even listen to what anyone has to say.the staff are thiefs they have stole my child's money she had in there bookbag after I called and told the receptionist and bus driver were the money was so my child would be able to participate in an activity.they also do not keep good track of your childcare payments and try to have you pay double the amount or not accept you child if you do not show them proof of your payments!.i do not recommend anyone to this childcare/school unless you like your children mistreated and your money to be taken out of your hands for no reason at all when they should have there own proof and have someone keep track of payments!
