This is the best school around. Friendly, clean, honest. I tried couple of schools, but this one is by far the best. When my son was small, he attended Jin-A and I believe with the help of the teachers, he grew up to be very compassionate boy with great love for books and nature. His imagination is amazing. I like that the kids swim in the summertime, ride the bikes, play in the sandboxes and explore the great playground. Even in the wintertime, the kids bring in their snowsuits, so they can play outside for a while. The best thing is that once a month, the parents will receive an email link with tons of pictures of their kids having fun and learning. The academic program is excellent, the school policies and guidelines are clear. Now that my second child is attending this school, I know in my heart that it is the second best place for her to be, after obviously being home with her family.
We love this school. After taking my children to a private catholic school in Wayne, we decided to bring my son back to Kindergarten in Jin-A. Teachers are very friendly and approchable and they do have lots of patient with the kids. In pre-school my kids had projects and activities all the time. I recommend Jin-A.
We absolutely love Jin-A! My son can be a handful, he is very emotional and it was hard for him to leave me in the beginning having been a stay at home mom and him never having to be in child-care before 2 1/2. when he first came to the toddler room one of the teachers stayed with just with him for an hour and gave him special attention. They even sent me a picture to let me know he was okay on his first day! He is now in the older classroom for 3 year olds and he loves all of his teachers and staff. It's true, they all know your child's name even if they are not their teacher. I have had nothing but great experience with everyone there. I have always felt that my child was safe and cared for. I have also always felt that the teachers and caregivers communicate very well with me and let me know what is going on with my child. If there is a problem, they talk to me and we work out what to do in a way that is best for my child. They were a HUGE help when my son started potty training as consistency at home and at day care is key. The facility is beautiful, lots of nature and room to play, and they even have a pool for the summer! So far we've had nothing but a positive experience.
This has really been an amazing experience. Our family toured many preschools and never felt entirely comfortable. Since we found Jin-A. we've been totally satisfied. I really love that the director knows my child exactly. One morning his grandma dropped him off at school. He was complaining of a stomach ache and wouldn't get out of the car. The director happened to pass by and commented that he is a sensitive boy and with a little time, he would be alright. She was right! He took a little break and was out of the car right after! The awareness of each child is unique and I really appreciate that my son isn't just another kid. ALSO, when my daughter started, one teacher took pictures of her throughout her first day and posted them on my facebook page to give me peace of mind. What preschool does that?! It was awesome and made me feel so comforted to see her happy.
