I absolutely love this school, yes school, for my daughter. She's attended since she was 19 months old and she's now 3. The reason I initally enrolled her here is because of their potty training policy. Her other daycare didin't agree with me that she was ready to potty train at 19 months. Not only did they agree with me that she was ready but they have an anti-pullup policy, which I loved. They don't deny they use of pullups but they encourage parents not to use them. With the help of SRA she was fully potty trained by 22 months. Since then they have made sure that she was ahead of the game. They strive for higher learning and make sure that the children enrolled are school ready. In fact, they have a Quality Start Rating from the state of LA to prove it. All of the teachers are certified in Child Care Development, as well. The owner comes from working in CDC's on military bases so the curriculum at SRA is based on the best CDC's in the country. I highly recommend sending your child to SRA. It's the best decision I've ever made for her.
This is a daycare center, not a school, as the name "Academy" would imply. They do not teach Pre-K 3 or Pre-K-4. I wonder if the staff have credentials in teaching children? The people are nice at Spring Ridge and the center is always clean and organized.
Spring Ridge Academy is a 5 Star Pre-school and Child Development Center that offers every thing from a clean healthy learning enviroment in addtion to a caring staff. My grandson attended the daycare and pre-school up until it was time for him to start kindergarden. Spring Ridge prepared him by setting the foundation for learning and now he will be in Kindergarden and can read and write. I would recommend this school to other parents without hesitation.
