Not sure who would write a review 5 years after the kids attended unless they had some sort of financial interst in the program. The first two reviews are more then accureate. There is a lot of problems a teacher was caught sleeping (apparently she had medical issues). There is also something all parents should know. The director of this center reports to Sean Doherty. He reports to the board of directors. The director's husband is on the board. So, lets just say it is a real sad sitaution. I have been told that the center was not always as bad as it is now that it has gone down since some key mngt left. If you are there I would enourage you to stay very involved and keep a close eye out. If you are not there I would encourage you to not to go. Look for places that not been reported to the state. If they are on the list then it is bad as it means the state as verified the findings and it is usually very serious. Also, look for a place that is NAEYC Accredited or at least working towards it. These daycares have very high standards. This review has the best interest of the kids at heart. Good luck!
Best Daycare in Wallingford! Both of my sons have attended the Learning Community beginning as an infant then graduating as preschoolers. I would highly recommend this center for their nurturing ability and care for the children. Both of my sons were properly prepared to enter Kindergarten as the center follows the Creative Curriculum format.
Worst Daycare in Wallingford, CT Nice facility but I would not recommend anyone to send children here especially babies. They forgot to feed my baby his second bottle. No apology until I called the state and they were written up for it. Keep looking is my advice!
