I have had my children at Abby's for about 2 years. This is great center. My kids love it. The teachers are wonderful and loving. I even attemped to take my older child to a local private pre-school which was a disaster. We are very happy and will stay as until they are both ready for school.

My child attend Abby's and I am proud of the achievements my wonderful 2 yr old daughter has accomplished with the devoted help from the teachers there. Almost every teacher has college degrees in early childhood development and teaching. The teachers know all the parents by name and greet me when I arrive. They let me know how her day went and the activities my child had for the day. Each activity is designed to teach them different things. My daughter has learned to make her bed, she knows that red and yellow makes orange... She has learned so much from the teachers. I thank Abby for ensuring that all her employee's are educated and experience with working with children. I also appreciate the level of security provided,I have a personal pin number to get in the door they charge $100 if I give it to anyone(even MY mom!)

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
