I have no idea what the no personal hygiene thing is about below - but we have had no such issues, actually in the 1 1/2 years my daughter has been there, she has only been sick once and that came from my husband. In addition the school is all about learning through playing and it has been incredible watching my child blossom with lots of new knowledge and friends. They have a set schedule, but it is made up of story time, colors, yoga, free play, show and tell and so on. I was blown away when yesterday my daughter named all the months in line with no prompt and I certainly didn t teach her that we don t even speak English at home.
Nice teachers and social environment. However, principlies of personal hygiene are not reinforced. Procedures recommended for reducing spread of germs and illnesses are not fully followed resulting in high frequency of major viruses.
My daughter is having a wonderful Pre-K experience at All About Kids. The school is about learning through fun. The activity selection and scheduled curriculum are excellent and right on target with what 3-5 year olds need to learn: colors, numbers, letters, days of the week/month, etc. Reading and crafts are a daily focus and not only do they get to show & tell at school but when my daughter comes home, she is excited to show & tell us what she did at school. The teachers work with the Parents to make a thriving environment for the kids - I am very happy we chose AAK for this important time in our daughter's life! Monica D.
My daughter loves her school. Its a small program so everyone got enough attention. She really learns things every day.... A lot of activities and very good teacher-student ratio -- with reasonable tuition.
