I have two boys who are Grace Cooperative alum and two more who just started this year. This is not just a preschool, but a community. Parents and educators work together to make the classroom both fun and educational. As a wise politician once wrote, "it takes a village..."; well that's what GCP is! With events outside of the classroom, both on campus and off, GCP has become a social center and a touchstone for the education and the social development of my children as well as my wife and myself. We're fiercely loyal to the people who make this place a go. I'd recommend Grace Cooperative Preschool to anyone who is willing to put into the community as much as they hope to get out of it.

Our two sons attended Grace and our family loved it there. There is a nice sense of community, warm and caring families and teachers, and a play based program that allowed the boys to learn, but still be kids. We recommend Grace to anyone that is able to commit time to the school since it is a cooperative school. Our children were academically, socially, and emotionally prepared for elementary school.

What a wonderful preschool. I was lucky enough to spend four years as a parent at this school with two of my sons. Grace's "Learning Through Play" philosophy allowed my sons to flourish. With open ended play enriched by storytime, art, cooking, music, and science, I have seen the children at Grace develop into well rounded individuals who love learning and who have the social-emotional skills they need to succeed in the larger world. With a lovely garden, a new "natural playground" and a welcoming atmosphere, Grace is really an incredible first school experience.

Grace Cooperative Preschool in Walnut Creek, CA is the epitome of its name, a beautiful collaborative of supportive, accommodating, helpful and sharing teachers, parents, families and children. Two of my grandsons have participated at Grace for the past six years and two more will enter this fall. Participants receive ten-fold more than they give in effort. My grandchildren are joyous in their learning, sharing, creating and expressions. Not only do they learn, grow and thrive in the nurturing grace of Grace Cooperative Preschool, their entire extended family thrives. Their parents enjoy the families they work with, as do three sets of grandparents and several aunts and uncles who all attend the events
