My son just completed the 2 year program at SFX and is more than ready for his frist year of elementary school Ms Shearin and Ms Lewis are great teachers and I love for my daughter to have them as her teachers this year.
This Head Start program is chaotic, unorganized and many staff members (including administration) are VERY unprofessional. This is NOT a healthy learning environment for young children.
I have a daugter that now attends SFX head start and she has learned so much in her first year of head start that will prepare her for PreK in the 2009-10 school year. I am a proud parent of 2 beautiful little girls and I can say that I have made the best choice of sending them both to head start before sending them to a regular school at first. Sending your children to head start really gives your child/children a wonderful learning experience.
