This is an excellent school. My 5 year old can do 2nd grade Singapore math without any supervision. He is very well mannered and puts his practical life lessons to use every day. He can read big books and comprehend things very well. The teachers are extremely friendly and take special care of kids. This is a fully certified and accredited montessori. Very neat and hygienic facility. The parents feedback are always taken into consideration. I am more than happy with this school
My son has been going here for more than a year now. He loves his school and especially his teachers. At 4.5 years of age he is doing 1st grade maths but without any pressure from the teachers who let him develop at his own level (his english skills are on par for his age). I think it is nice that they let the kids play in the afternoon as it gives them a chance to socialize and make friends and get excercise. 2-3 hours of academic studies per day at the ages of 3-5 is more than enough. The best thing is my son has a love of learning, he comes home and wants me to give him academic work to do. What more can I ask for ? I also like the fact that the facilities are kept spotlessly clean and teaches sanitize, vacuum and clean on a daily basis.
This school is not the one I recommend to preschoolers. The teachers are very cold, and unfriendly to the children. It seems all the teachers told to show no emotions or affection towards the children. I was told teachers to student ratio will be 29 to 3 teachers, but I mostly saw 2 teachers. Most of the afternoon is on the playground for all regardless of age differences. Creativity is not encouraged. Routines dominate the curriculum. Individual thinkers and above average kids don't benefit at this school. 95% of the students are Asians. The teachers 90% are Asians including the director of the school. There is a dedicated lady who sits and records the fallacy behavior of the children. The teachers lack communication skills, and the director is very defensive for any discussion. I don't recommend this preschool especially for kids who are dynamic, inquisitive, and academic.
I am agree that you said the teacher no smile and even I say the teacher don't really want to talk to the parent. My daughter has been in this school for about 4 months. She got a punishment In her first week. But the teacher didn't tell me anything about what happened. Only my daughter told me that she cried at school and said didn't want to go back. The worst thing about her teacher is when we gave the two weeks notes, she stoped to teach my daughter. What kind of teacher is that? Very unqualify. She should go back to school to learn how to teach. This is my big mistake to chose this school for my little one
