Every night when I pick up my 2 year old, at least half a dozen teachers tell him goodnight using his name as we walk through the campus, to the parking lot. You can not buy that kind of warm, closeness. The school appears big, but the teachers genuinly care about the children, and it shows. Don't let a couple of old reviews scare you away- check them out for yourself. It was the best decision I made.
The negative reviews are old... And seem like the exact opposite of what I have experienced at Action Day with my child who is currently enrolled. They understand children and their development, have solid communication with the parents, and the all around programs are fantastic. My child has blossomed here!! Her development is apparent everyday, learning music, spanish, communication skills, manners, weekly cooking project, monthly field trips, family projects... and much much more! I wish I would have started bringing her here as a baby, instead of just preschool/junior kindergarten. She loves her teachers, and they love her back, and genuinely care for all of their students. As you can see I just can't say enough good things about this school.
I have to say I compleyley disagree with the other 2 reviews. I have had 2 children attend this school, both starting at 3 months old. My older child went through the entire program and is now in kidnergarten and thriving. I thank this school for all they did to nurture her development and really prepare to excell for the rest of her elementary education. My son is a young toddler, and loves coming to school each day, and is excited when he sees his teacher. The caregivers are warm and loving, and really care about the way I want things done for him, in terms of meal times, naps etc. I feel lucky to have found a place like this where I can bring my children and have the peace of find that not only will they be safe and taken care of, but love being there.
I am in full agreement with the previous reviewer. I also worked at Action Day and had my child there. In the beginning I fell for all the talk about how much they care and nurture children, their daily plans for the kids, healthy snacks. It turned out what they were most concerned about was their bottom line. They are hire mostly incompetent, unqualified people who are lazy and unhappy. Looks can be deceiving. The best thing I ever did was yank my child out.
