My 2 children have had wonderful experiences from 2years to 5 years of age at GUMP. It is a safe, caring, developmentally appropriate environment with wonderful teachers who are well-educated and kind. The faculty and staff are well-led by a highly competent and enthusiastic director.

I had a great experience here & my daughter loves going to school! I am also sending my son this fall. I have full confidence in GUMP's program!

Germantown United Methodist Preschool (GUMP) has been so important in both of my childrens' education. I couldn't ask for a better start for their education and life learning. My son just finished the Transition/Jr-k program, which is for children who aren't quite ready for kindergarten because of age, maturity, etc. It is the best thing I've ever done for him. His teachers were so loving, educated and organized. He is now prepared for kindergarten now in every way. It is summer now and he misses going to school!

There were 18 kids in my child's class and only two teachers. Due to a lack of space in the building, my child's class was not held in the same classroom everyday. On some days, the class met upstairs. Other days, they met in a downstairs classroom. Just remembering which carpool line to use for that day of the week was challenging. And the carpool line ran opposite of the painted directional arrows. The atmosphere lacked structure and consistency. The caliber of most of my child's teachers has been shockingly poor.

I don't know the name of an computer or a held computer that teachers the ABCs', Colors, Shapes, Dolch word list. This is imperative to help children learn and don't know they are learning. I would like to be a committe to help

depends on the age of the students and maturity level, you wouldn't give a 13 year old that acts like a two year old an expensive learning toy would you....
