Two of our kids graduated kindergarten at Cornerstone and one is in preschool. Needless to say we have been quite pleased with our experience. The growth that all three have and are currently displaying shows the type of quality teachers, facilities, and leadership that exists at this school.

My son has been at this school since he was 4. It has been a wonderful experience and environment for him. There is a Spanish Immersion program which is so beneficial for our American children. The teachers and staff have always taken any of my concerns seriously. This school has been at this serene location for over 20 years and have alumni that went to the school as children and come back to teach or do there internships there! Highly recommend this school for youngsters

We had an absolutely horrible experience at this school! The teacher in our son's class did not take into consideration a slow to warm temperament, and did some pretty horrible punishing things. The director of the school was non-apologetic and uninterested. We had to remove our son from this school after an inexcusable event occurred . He entered another with no problems at all (expect for his memories from the bad school experience).

Corner stone Montessori is a very organized and tranquil place for children 18mo. through kindergarden to learn. It has been affordable, because the parents help and organize fund raisers to keep the tuition from raising. My son has learned alot through his own explortion of materials provided in the class room. He has truly thrived in this environment and has blossomed as a student mastering 'works' or projects along with respecting culture, music, and the earth. This is the best school I have ever wittnessed.

Expose your child to as many activities as they show interest in. They should not be expected to fulfill YOUR dreams. If you support their interest(s) it can grow into a lifelong passion. In turn, they will bond with others who share that interest.

Americans seem to value extroverts more than introverts. I came out of my shell when I found friends and activities that I liked (high school). And it just took off from there. Perhaps shy kids are just pickier about whose company they keep.
