The teachers are very nurturing and the environment is very homey. The teacher to student ratio is the best I've seen anywhere, and there is very low teacher turnover. I think the teachers genuinely love working there. I also love that you can choose part time vs. full time, and any number of days per week. My only criticism is that the curriculum in their pre-K program could be more rigorous - my kids got a little bored toward the end before starting kindergarten. Overall it's a wonderful little school and I have been very happy to send my kids there.
The Learning Bridge is a wonderful place! The Director of this school has been artfully raising children for over 30 years, as a former student I still can recall great memories of fun. The teachers have a great approach to anything a child can come up with. Thank you so much to the great staff of this school!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this preschool. Jane Cole is a genius with children and her teachers are as nurturing and creative as they come. My son was a very reluctant student, but they eased him into the program brilliantly. I've seen his confidence rise and he looks forward to making new friends. I also have tremendous respect for their focus on green living, artful discipline and strong commitment to bringing out the best in each child. This school is a gem!
My daughter went here and I pulled her out due to the lack of adult supervision and the bullying. The kids watch TV and are allowed to go outside in the courtyard barefoot. My daughter came home many times with splinters. They were so concerned about feelings but not hitting, pushing and aggressive behavior. I was so happy when we left.
