Community Rating
The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.
We're in our second year at NVNS and we're very happy with it. As a play-based school, the children enjoy the freedom to become involved in art projects, games, manipulative toys and puzzles, stories, and dramatic play. The director, Susan Edwards, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and is able to address the specific needs of most every child while setting the tone for a supportive and nurturing environment for children and parents alike. NVNS is a cooperative school which means it's a lot of work for parents, but it has been well worth it. We've learned a great deal about our child and the developmental and emotional needs of other kids while becoming part of a strong and loving community of families.
