I was very happy with Joyland and Teacher while my daughter attended the school. However, I pulled my daughter out when they "let go" of her teacher for a trumped up reason.

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
