Traditional small Montessori school. One classroom with a Directress and an assistant. Both were very experienced, outstanding Maryland and AMS certified teachers who understood and applied Montessori philosophy. Our children were well prepared for first grade after attending CHMS. A paid administrator takes care of the business end, allowing the teachers to concentrate on teaching. Parent meetings are held every month, with individual conferences three times a year or more often at parent request. Teachers relate well to and are liked by the children. Unlike other pre-schools in this area, in which students call teachers by their first name, at CHMS they adress teachers as 'Ms. ----' as they are expected to do later on. I feel that this is better. Unfortunately, the Directress that we had passed away last year (cancer), so there will be a different one now.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!

What do you do with bulling teachers? Our kids were bullied by teachers and the school defended the teachers. And there is no way for school to remove a tenured bully teacher.

This page logs your answer multiple times, anyway, now we are putting her in private school, the older she gets, the more aggressive the kids around her get & we dont want to see how far it goes, especially when they arent disciplined properly.
