We've been attending Cherub Childcare for over 6 years and have been very happy. My son started at 8mos old and 'graduated' last year when he went off to Kindergarten. He is at least a year above most of his peers in reading and other skills-- thanks in part ( we have some to do with it as well!) to his time at Cherub. My 2.5 year old is there now and she loves it. There was a rough patch about a year ago -- but the Center has hired a new Director (the original director who started the center 20 years ago) and she is wonderful! There is such a new life here, so many activities, theme weeks, visitors, hands on lessons (cooking, making crafts) . I have nothing but good things to say about the place now and the direction it's headed. -- Michele W. (parent)
I am so disappointed in Cherub. There is no warmth that a preschool should have, no laughter, no hugs, it is a free for all with all 30 kids in one group, most of the teachers and helpers are fat 250+ and lazy, when ever I would walk by and look in the fence the teachers are all interacting with each other and not the children. In the morning when I would drop my daughter off at school the two teachers always sat in the same spot talking to each other and I barely got a hello out of them and they never addressed my daughter by name or said good morning to her. I finally decided to remove her from the school even though I live near by
