The facility is dirty. The teacher:student ratio is high, and I did not get the impression that the teachers cared much about the kids. My child came home several times with bite marks that were not addressed (and I wonder if they were ever noticed by staff). After the 3rd biting incident I decided not to send my child anymore. No one even noticed - until tuition was due, of course! This place is gross, honestly. Please, go off island before sending your child here.
Teachers do not seem qualified. Activities are below age appropriate levels. Kids are often in front of the Tv. Structure and supplies very outdated. My child was here for 5 months and I couldn't wait to get him out. Unfortunately, full time daycare options on Coronado are limited.
We were very pleased with the preschool and all of the teachers are great....how do I know....well my child is the actual judge.....he loves this school and really likes all his teachers and all the attention. He made some good friends who we now continue to see at play dates and birthday parties. They have children's church on Sunday mornings with wonderful people who are also quite attentive and caring individuals. It's not a pretentious place and what is nice is that the children are taught to respect one another....a great value and foundation in life. I wish I would have found it sooner.
