I love this preschool. My children have been going here for almost 5 years now and we are really happy with the program. We searched the area extensively, visiting several preschools and actually enrolling my first daughter in one for 2 weeks before pulling her out after an unsatisfactory visit to the school. Tutor Time was highly recommended by my hairdresser, whose son had special needs. She raved about the school and the minute I walked in, I knew it was right for us. Clean, bright, and fun. By the end of the first week, every teacher we passed in the halls knew my daughter s name. My daughter even continued there for kindergarten which proved to be the best decision we could have made. It is a full day program, very affordable, small class size (14:1) and Mrs. Linda taught all of the kids not only to read proficiently but to love reading (the public school said my daughter came into 1st grade at a 3rd grade reading level). I still take my daughter there during the summer, and she often says she wishes Tutor Time taught older grades, and I do too! It will be a sad day when my little one graduates to elementary school.
My son went to this school at age of 4 for 1 month. We have to pull him out of there, because he was not eating there. My son is a picky eater. But the fact that we cannot bring our own lunch without him sitting away from the rest of the kids is ridiculous. The staff is not friendly, helpful or flexible. As a parent, I felt pressured to go along all the time. The sign-in/out system is overly complicated. The tuition is very high. The good thing about this school is the immaculate facility and adjacency to our home.
A wonderful preschool and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Our experience was very positive. I was diagnosed with Leukemia and was looking for a very clean preschool that focused on education and socialization for a few days a week since my daughter had not been able to be around many kids as most due to my cancer. The beginning had its ups and downs like any new change but after getting her adjusted and finding the right fit and class for her she did great! She fit right in and start making friends in no time and loved going to school! I have not had one problem with any of the staff; actually it was very much the opposite. Every single teacher, staff member, or administrator has been more then kind, helpful and understanding especially in my unique situation. If there was any concern or question on my part they were very easy to talk to and work with. My daughter is a very progressive child who was already able to read at a 6 yr old level and they did a great job of keeping her challenged and growing in a fun positive way while focusing on other areas such as motor skills, writing, cognition, creativity, basic math concepts, science and nature, social interaction, etc.
All three of my children have attended this Tutor Time at some point or another in the past 6 years. When we first started it was okay, but with our young infant (most recently) the management was poor and all the young girls that work there run the show. Unfortunately, we've watched a good program turn unsatisfactory and pulled our child out.
