We sent our daughter to BUMPS for preschool 2011/2012. It was the best year of her life! She LOVED this school and came home talking about it every day. As parents, we loved the school too. Excellent communication between teacher/parent/director, room mom was easy to talk to when needed, pricing is very affordable. We moved 40 minutes away toward the end of the year and this school was so special to us that we continued to make the drive twice a week so our daughter could attend her school. I highly recommend anyone looking for a preschool to check this one out.
I couldn't be happier with this school. It is play-based so the children will not be at a desk all day, but they do have circle time and learning activities. It has a huge shaded play yard with bikes, swings, play equipment and an adorable Amish play house. The teachers are all wonderful and caring and the children that attend the school are all well rounded. My son loves to go to school and practically runs into his class without saying goodbye. Definitely check it out. As all BUMPS parents know, 'Two thumbs up.' :)
my shy daughter started going to this pre-school when she was four years old. She had to stay behind an extra year because according to her teachers, she wasn't ready for kindergarten. I have two older children I made the mistake of sending to kindergarten against their pre-school teachers' wishes. While she was there she became more sociable and confident enough to make friends. Not to mention their pre-school curriculum was always an exciting learning experience for her. The teachers are kind, engaging and fun. Mrs. Warden, the director greets and hugs each child every morning when they walk throught the gate. The entire staff never ceases to be respectful with the parents. I should know, my child was tardy on quite a few occasions because of me, and still the staff was kind and respectful with me, and warm and welcoming with my daughter. She's doing fine in kindergarten now.
