I have had my kids with this school since 2009 and my children have absolutely loved it and thrived there. I highly recommend this school to anyone that asks for recommendations.

Contrary to the previous reviewer, Montessori schools are soundly based on structure, more so in fact than traditional pre-schools, so I'm not sure where that comment is coming from. I'm also not sure why anyone would care about accreditation (this isn't college!) as long as your child is respectfully treated with care and kindness, which are the critical experiences toddlers need during this age of socialization (learning how to make friends is far more important than learning how to read). My wife and I really like this school as does our 3-yr old son. I absolutely recommend it.

Montessori Schools are not for every child. My girls attended this school and both were extremely bored. I was very happy when their names came up on a waiting list for another school with a more traditional program. I now am a firm believer that kids thrive on structure. Some problems with the school are unsupervised children, due to low staffing. Living in Laguna Beach it seems that we don't have alot of choices. This school has no accreditation. There are no progress reports and only two parent/teacher conferences per year. If it's daycare you need, it may be for you, but if it's preschool, you might want to check other places. Accredited montessoris are very different from this school and not as costly.

The preschool program is excellent at this school. The teachers are loving and there are an enormous number of enriching programs (Spanish, music, sports, art, theater, dance, computers, etc)

No... thank goodness. Not everything in life is a lesson. Relaxation is an art that should be practiced more. Sometimes its ok to just "play".

Each toy DOES teach something, but it is up to the adult to make it interesting by being encouraging and specific.
