My daughter is 3 years old and just started at Granite Bay School House. The school is amazing. I toured a few preschools in the area and this was by far the best one. It is incredibly clean; all of the kids that attend are well kept and extremely polite for their age group. My daughter is very happy here and is learning so much. Every time she comes home from school she is talking about what they are learning from the weather to George Washington. I would highly recommend this school to any friend or parent.
We are very please with the curriculum and classroom structure. Children s House teaches the children about classical music and composers, artists, continent s and its animals and culture. Each day they have lessons of counting, beginning math skills, spelling and letter sounds as well as differences in objects. They are taught practical life skills and to be respectful of one another and their environment, whether it is the classroom, playground or home. Our child is challenged to progress and advance in addition to being given encouragement and support on a daily basis to excel and explore. If she experiences any learning challenges, it is immediately recognized and discussed with us to determine how best to help her past that hurdle. The school promotes an open line of communication with teachers and office staff that is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Granite Bay Montessori to any parent.
