I want to start out by saying me and my daughter love this center. My daughter is alomost 6 months old and started attending at 8 weeks old. From the start, she has been very happy and excited to go to the school in the morning (EVERY MORNING :) As a new mom this put me at ease right away. They are eager to assist with her development. I must say she started rolling over and grabbing toys over a month early! I feel the staff is dedicated and want to help my baby be as successful as she can be. They provide the essential tools :) So, without hesitation I would recommend this center to anyone.

We have been at Kidd Academy for over 2 years with 2 kiddos. Being a relatively picky mom, my first daughter went through 3 day care centers before we found our home here. It is family owned and run so they are deeply connected in the well-being of the kids at this school. The director is a career pediatric nurse who seems to know every family that comes in by name (wish I had that talent). The teacher turn around is ridiculously low and the staff morale is high, they all seem pleased to work there. Several of the staff are already certified teachers and many are going for their certification, and the school supports them in their endeavors. They do tons of community service projects and reach out to families in need. Any concern I might have here and there is respected and addressed appropriately. WE LOVE IT HERE!

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
