The school is amazing, both of my children have attended the program and the attention they pay to each child is beyond words. The staff is caring and thoughtful they pay close attention to the children, there is constant testing and evaluation of each child, it is however up to the parent to be as involved as possible, sadly many parents treat this head start as a day care they don't bother to show up to the meetings or volunteer. Ms Linda Navarro is a well educated well prepared and caring individual. The school and staff are fantastic.
My daughter has been here for 2 years and still does not know all her letters and numbers. I feel like they use this more as a daycare than school. The teachers are very nice but are not teaching the kids the necessary tools to prepare for kinder. They need to create a better curriculum even if it means sending more homework home.
This school does very well when it comes to preparing my son for Elem.school he already knows how to spell his colors & he is only 3yrs. My older children started here and they are honor students as well as G.T. The site manager is always checking on the kids & helping out Linda Navarro is awesome I have know her since she had my older children there.
