Our three-year old daughter has been attending this for the last 3 months. I don't have enough words to describe how great this preschool is. We were very worried about our daughter because she is usually very difficult and she always wants attention from parents. We thought she would cry for months and the school would expel her. But, amazingly, she cried only on one day (on her second day, when her daddy dropped her). The teachers are like angels sent by the almighty god from the church right next to the school. They are so loving and caring and ......(any other good thing you can think about teachers)....We are very happy we chose this.

I was extremely happy with my son's experience at Potrero. The teachers are a great balance of nurturing and structured. They had the kids doing science and learning about nature. Music was an everyday activity. There was lots of discussion and sharing which seemed to produce a more confident sense of self. The teachers truly enjoyed each child for their own uniqueness. The sun always seems to be shining and the kids were always hesitant to what to leave.

I can't begin to say how grateful I am that we moved our twins to Potrero. The staff is amazing. They report back to me on who my kids were playing with, what they were discussing, where they are excelling, and make suggestions for supporting learning at home. They actually pay attention to each and every individual child and treat them as a whole person, not just another kid. I am continually amazed at the love and creativity displayed here and my kids seem to bring those qualities home with them in a way I have never seen before. This is a wonderful place for preschool aged children.

This school teaches children confidence through a loving and nutring enviroment. The academic learning was just a plus on top! I wasn't expecting my 4 year old to learn to add and subtract and spell - I was just hoping for her to have fun in a safe zone!
