All 3 of my children have or are attending Westminster. It has been a magical and transformative experience for my entire family. Westminster is one of the only parent co-op preschools in Austin, meaning that parents are teacher's aides and school volunteers on a rotating basis. I have enjoyed having my "helping days" to see my kids in action among their peers and watch them grow and learn. Westminster has a strong core value of learning through play, which has allowed my children to develop a natural curiosity and love of learning. Westminster also has an unparalleled staff and faculty--long average teaching tenures and very little turnover (other than retirement!). Westminster is truly a bubble of love, leaning and play in today's hurried and unfocused world. I have been told by many teachers in elementary school that the children coming out of Westminster are the most socially prepared of their peers. For those of us privileged enough to be able to send our children to preschool, we know our children will be well-educated, but where we often fall short is in building the social and emotional foundation for our children to succeed. Westminster has done just this for my family.
