Our three daughters went to Primrose Eldorado in McKinney during the summer months in order to get them acclimated to a class room environment, and I can say it was the best experience that they and my wife and I could have enjoyed. The staff remembered their names even after not seeing them for 18 months in one case! They were always courteous and attentive and worked with our girls to alleviate their fears and anxieties. They all enjoyed their experiences there and still today talk about how fun it was and how it was "their first school"! I highly recommend Primrose Eldorado.

Our three sons have both been through the entire Primrose system here in McKinney since they were all 12 weeks old. From the caring and nurturing environment in the infant room (a big "Thank you!" to Mrs. Bonna Devine), to the excellent teaching standard in pre-kindergarten, it has been a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our oldest is now excelling in first grade, and has been advanced since day 1. He's been in the Gifted and Talented Program at MISD since kindergarten. He loves the Explorer's program at Primrose that he attends after school and in the summer. Our 3 year old has special needs (Down Syndrome) and everyone at Primrose has been super helpful in getting him to meet his goals. Being around developmentally normal kids daily has made his progress much easier. Our 16 month old is coming right along in the toddler room and making awesome progress with talking and signing. He absolutely loves going to Primrose! He runs to his teachers with a big smile every morning. Thank you for helping us raise our boys to be the respectful, loving boys that they are, and helping them to do their best. We love Primrose!

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
