The principal of this school is very unpolite with parents and do not want to help with simple parent requests like keeping a child indoors when it is too cold. They will simply tell you that they cannot help you and if you insist they will invite you to look for another program for your child. Most of the teachers are ok but their high rank personnel are far from beign understanding and patient. You will be better avoiding this school and look for other programs where their principal , nurses and social workers are humble and understand what is to have a child with special needs and that they are not just more worried about paperwork, burocracy and how to fill their spots....

The best school by far!! Teachers are loving and caring and the amount of work the children do on a daily basis is amazing!!! They learn sooo much! and if your child is not potty trained, They will learn at this school!! My son is ruff around the edges and is a little strong minded but at this school the teachers were able to teach him how to patient. I would walk in at all hours just to sneak and see if my son was getting the attention he needed and trust me when I tell you I cried!!! story time was a tear jerker!! my son will not sit at home still to listen to a story but he did for ICCD!!!! My son was in Books and Rattles in Middle Villege and that was a nightmare. Take my advice ICCD is a amazing!!!!

I make a list of items to discuss ahead of time. Then after the conference, I keep in touch. This also depends on how far into the year the conferences are.

First understand that teachers / schools make big deals over EVERYTHING. Second, no one knows your child better than you. Third, keep a frequent line of communication open with the teacher and conferences are just a recap... no surprises.
