This is a good daycare center. Children maybe ok transitioning to a public school in New Mexico but if you move to another state where the academic standards are higher the transition maybe difficult.

I have nothintg but good thoughts about Our Montessori School. My daughter is well prepared for first grade thanks to the teaching staff and the environment. The negative reviews must be from parents that owed money because their thoughts and opinions are not justified.

If you want a daycare center that will take good care of your children I recommend this school. As far as academics this is not a place that will prepare your child for regular private and public schools. Learning about continents and planets is fine but if children lack basic knowledge of the alphabet and sounds of the alphabet when they get to K this is a problem.

This daycare program is more suited for ages 5 years and up. The staff presents the knowledge of knowing Montessori philosophy but lacks training or skills in child development and child psychology. This presents a problem if you have a 2, 3, or 4 year old behaving normally that may conflict with how staff wants the day to flow. The administrator has a great plan on how she would like to run the program but the lack of well trained staff is a problem. The Montessori philosophy is fine but the staff I have encountered are clueless as to what is considered normal behavior specific to an age group because they are only focused on the philosphy. Unfortunately due to budget constraints this progam can't afford degreed early childhood educators.
