The Children's Cornerstone Montessori School

My child attends The Children's Cornerstone and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The first thing that struck me when touring the school was how each child was actively engaged in meaningful age appropriate work. The teachers were caring and the children seemed happy. We decided to send our child to the afternoon program and have seen here make enormous strides in her behavior and academically. It is a wonderful place.

If you are researching preschools for your child, you need to stop at The Children's Cornerstone. My daughter went there for the afternoon program 3 days a week. She loved it. She has learned so much in her first year as well as independence. Mrs. Mariotti really works with having the children's best interest in mind. She introduces them to school gradually for their first school experience and as a parent that really means a lot. My daughter was very ill throughout the year and the teachers really went out of their was as far as communication and support. It just really meant a lot to us to have such close communication with her teacher. She always would respond to any email we had with any concern right away. Another thing that is great about the Cornerstone is the great contact you would have with the other families. As parents we would email each other and do get togethers often, and just inform one another of different community events for children. It was a very nice refreshing interaction that I must say I did not have with my older sons preschool. I can't say enough about this school or the teachers. We have been more than happy with our experience there.

Our daughter loves the Children's Cornerstone! She started with the afternoon "first school experience program" this year, and it was a perfect transition into school for her. Three afternoons a week, small class size, and lots of personal attention. The teachers really encourage independence and self-reliance, and are very positive and encouraging with the children. Personally, I appreciate that the teachers keep in close contact with the parents. They respond to emails and calls right away, and I feel very safe with my daughter in their care. She loves her teachers and her classmates, and always leaves school happy :) Her little sister is excited to start in the fall!

My daughter went to the Children's Cornerstone for the past 3 1/2 years; My son is a past student It's the best program that a child can have. I am greatful for all the hard work that the staff had put in to have my daughter be comfortable with the learning she had achieved. My daughter was very shy, she is now more outgoing and she is now ready to enter 1st grade. "Thank You" to the staff for the past years that my daughter had. I recomend the Montessori program to all parents who ask for this program.

Children's Cornerstone is providing our son, who is 5, with an outstanding start to his educational journey. The teachers have given our son individual attention guiding him to achieve educational goals appropriate for him. I was amazed with how well the teachers know his abilities and are excited about his accomplishments. The teachers provide the perfect balance of learning and having fun at school.

Our son was a bit shy and relunctant to start school at age 3. In two months he has progressed, becoming more verbal, a better listener, and focussed on learning. He is excited to go to every day, proud to show us his accomplishments. Mrs. Mariotti, the new school directress is bringing the school to new heights, and the children love it!

I am so impressed with the teacher's and staff at Cornerstone and my son is learning so much! I am very impressed with the staff's professionalism but also how nurturing and caring they are to their students. I would highly recommend this school to others and I am very thankful for all they do!

This school offers such a great program. The education that the children receive is really unmatched. My daughter is excited to go to school every day and amazes me with the knowledge that she has attained at such a young age. The teachers and program really keep her interested.
