Charlestown Playhouse

I can't give enough praise to Playschool. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful community of people. My son has learned so many valuable lessons and social skills while at Playschool. Lessons and skills that I am certain he would not have learned elsewhere. This is a school where not only the children are learning- the parents are too.

Charlestown Playhouse is by far the best preschool and kindergarten in the area. Their play-based learning environment is fantastic - it's diverse, thorough and provides each child with a learning environment specific to their needs. I am very grateful for the experience my 3 children have had at this school.

I have had kids at Charlestown Playhouse for the past six years. It is an excellent school filled with dedicated and caring college-educated teachers. My children have benefited from the age-appropriate curriculum and I have benefited from the community environment. Also, my husband and I have learned may valuable lessons about parenting. The school sponsors talks by experts in early childhood education and because I help in the classroom once a week I get to see the teachers in action in a variety of situations. I paid for my children to go to Playschool, but I got an invaluable education there for free.

Playschool, as it is lovingly referred to, is a unique cooperative program where parents pour their energies into a well worth it organization! Children are educated in a play-based, developmentally appropriate environment where student-ratios and teacher qualifications are unmatched anywhere! We have had nothing but wonderful things to say after having 3 children attend Playschool.
