I have 3 children in Nebinger and the school is by far one of the best in the area. The review before was under a different principal. I would highly recommend Nebinger to everyone and anyone. This year they do not offer the head start prgrm but instead have 2 bright futures classes that are both taught by wonderful women and the asst's are just as wonderful. If you set up a visit to Nebinger you will see ... Everyone has a right to their own opinion . Also you can read more about Nebinger on facebook under Friends of Nebinger.
This program is not academic at all! The teacher does not seem to care about all of the children's individual needs. I have my child in the program and she has a special diet and the teacher said that she would not allow her to eat her own lunch. My child had to eat the nasty lunch provided by the state. Well if you are at all concerned about your childs diet do not send them to the Bright Futures program. My child goes to the program at Nebinger Elementary. The principal does not seem to care about the parents or the chidren. When my child was in a private daycare she got homework everynight. In this program she does not get homework. The only good thing is that the program is free. So basically do not send your child to Bright Futures or to Nebinger.
