Gravel Hill Christian Kindergarten

I looked in one day to find my child playing with another girl and when he got up to push another child who wanted to take over the toy suddenly the teacher came over, grabbed him by the head and yanked him from the toy they were on. I saw all this through the door window. I thought the arm pits would have been a better way to pick up a child. Iopened the door to see if he was ok and the teacher stopped.(or at least until I left) When I complained to the director she said the pastor was in charge and she could not discipline the teacher because they didn't have a policy on abusing children by staff members in place. SO after the teacher got in my face the next day about how I was not to go to the director and if I had a problem with how she disciplined the kids I was to talk to her. Totally unprofessional and no remorse. So I canceled work to stay home with the kids after that until we found better caregivers. They still have her working with young kids I'm told...

My 5 yr old son has been enrolled in Gravel Hill's child care program since he was an infant. I highly recommend this center. It is clean, the teachers are excellent and my son truly enjoys going every day!
