Our daughter was roughly disciplined by a teacher and we got to hear the details about it from our child upon arriving home explaining how the teacher in her words "grabbed and squeezed me so SO hard" demonstrating the action and pointing to a bruise on her wrist. When brought to the Directors attention, she admitted that they (all 3 of them)had all witnessed the incident but that they just"do not have time" to address every little incident with parents.(?!) After having 4 children in preschool, I AM SHOCKED that the preschool Director/teachers do not have time to communicate with the parents the events that take place with the children. THAT is thier most important job,especially when it comes to dicsipline. THIS is every parents worst nightmare. Of course we immediately withdrew our daughter but unfortunately for us, we had paid this school several months ahead. it took them over 2 months only to give us a partial refund that DID NOT include the $80.00 it cost us to sign her up for the program. We never imagined that something so horrible could happen and then that they would add insult to injury with the smug way that they handled this.
