Great School. Caring Teachers. Gym class once a week, music class once a month.
This is a very nice preschool and kindergarten. Class sizes are typically not too large while maintaining a very reasonable ratio of students to teacher. The kindergarten is, for the most part, an academic kindergarten or, rather, a preparation for first grade type kindergarten. There is still time for fun, crafts, creativity and play, though, despite its academic foundation. There is a graduation ceremony in June for the Kindergarten graduates complete with caps and gowns and diplomas. In May there is a 'Mother's Day Tea' given in honor of all of the mothers of preschoolers and kindergartners. It is a delightful school, both inside and out (the grounds boast a nice, safe playground) and the school, although non-secular, is contained inside a Church building. The Church has big, ringing bells in the steeple, which seem to lend a certain old-fashioned charm to the school. JoyBell is located on Buck Rd.
