My child has been attenting H&G Londonderry Location since 1.5 yrs and I can honestly give them and a below average rating. After speaking to the staff serveral times over the past year I've gotten the impression mgmt isn't that great/supportive to their staff. I've also had a few instances were I was not happy with them myself. They called and were concerned about a bruise on my childs groin area (which is the right thing to do) however before you do so, maybe you want to make sure the "bruise" isn't dye from the diapers b/c he was soaked! I've also emailed mgmt in the past and never gotten a response. Lastly I feel my child is not at the level "academically' that he should be as far as preschool development goes.
Hansel and Gretel is a wonderful daycare/preschool. My 4 1/2 year old son has been attending since he was 10 weeks old. The teachers and staff are outstanding. I am amazed at the things my son is learning. They have great structure that prepares the child for grade school. It is a very clean environment and the safety/security of the children is very important to them!
This is by far the best daycare/early learning centers in the Harrisburg area. They focus on Montessori education mixed with their own method. Great learning environment! Great teachers! Great staff! And homemade food for breakfast and lunch (and snacks)!
The staff and teachers at Hansel and Gretel have been beyond wonderful. My son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last year and the entire staff rallied around us and have given my son the special attention and care he needs. My son is currently enrolled in their pre-school program and is showing constant improvement with his verbal, written and mathematical skills. I would recommend this school to anyone, not only, because of the great education my son is receiving there, but also because of the wonderful teachers and staff.
